Free National Night Out by Hiram Police

The Hiram Police Department invites the community to join them at this free event on Tuesday, being observed in communities around the nation. They will be grilling and serving food and beverages - all for free.

Police officers will display programs regarding safety and crime prevention during this 28th annual National Night Out (NNO). This unique crime/drug prevention event is sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch (NATW).

Last year's National Night Out Against Crime campaign involved citizens, law enforcement agencies, civic groups, businesses, neighborhood organizations and local officials from more than 15,000 communities from all 50 states, U.S. territories, Canadian cities and military bases worldwide. In all, over 37 million people participated in National Night Out 2010.
