Fiscal Year 2015 Year Approval on Hiram City Council Agenda

Rezoning application and contract approvals are also on the Tuesday council agenda.

The Hiram City Council has a busy Tuesday with several items up for consideration.

The council will be meet at 5 p.m. for a work session to discuss the Fiscal Year 2015 budget then follow that with a regular meeting at 6:30 p.m.

Public Hearing: Application by BRENT HARRIS/ 590 HIRAM LLC to rezone approximately 1.073 acres from R-2 (Suburban Residential District) to LRO (Low Rise Office District) to convert existing building to small office building and correspondingly amend the City’s official zoning map. Property is located in Land Lot 681, District 2, Section 3; west side of SR 92 (aka 590 Hiram Douglasville Hwy) north of Seaboard Street. The council will consider approval following the hearing.

Budget: Consider approval of FY2014 Budget Amendments as presented in the Budget Amendments Summary Report, dated 5-27-14 and presented to Mayor and Council at the May 27, 2014 Work Session.

Pump replacement: Consider approval of contracting services to replace the pump at Well Head #1 (Downtown) with Price Brothers Well Drilling & Boring, Inc for $9,569.00. Project will be funded with Water Revenue Capital Outlay account.

Hiram Street Improvement: Consider approval of the final, reconciliation Change Order in the amount of $62,324.10 to C&L Contractors for the Hiram Street Improvement Project on Powder Springs Street and Seaboard Avenue to be paid from SPLOST Streets - Capital Outlay fund.

Corrections Work Detail: Consider approval of the FY2015 Department of Corrections Work Detail Agreement in the amount of $39,500.00 to be paid from General Fund Maintenance & Operations. (Note: This contract has been included in the FY15 Draft Budget)

VC-3: To untable the motion to enter into an agreement with VC-3 for Information Systems Support and Services, and consider authorizing the City Manager to enter into a 3-year agreement with VC-3 for Information Systems Support and Services.
