For Some, Holidays Perfect for ‘Mud Bogging’

For some, dirt plus water plus a truck is a recipe for fun.

We came across some YouTube videos in recent days that took a look at some Christmas Eve “mud bogging,” or mud racing, in Dallas.

The first video we’ve featured here was uploaded by YouTube user num1ksfan on Christmas Day and focuses on performer Air Mundy.  Another Air Mundy video was submitted to YouTube by seefeldt1990. Our third video, uploaded on Christmas Eve, was by YouTube user JuggernautGotU.

Mud bogging is not new to Paulding. A 5-acre site in North Paulding owner by Wesley Shipp operated as a mud-bogging course since 2008, according to the Paulding Neighbor.

Following a county planning commission meeting that saw some area residents to allow for events on Shipp’s property, the Paulding Board of Commissioners this past May —the annual Christmas Eve occurrence.
