Hiram Council Adopts Joint Urban Redevelopment Plan

Hiram Council adopts Joint Urban Redevelopment Plan with unanimous 5-0 Vote.

At the Tuesday, Oct. 8, Special Session of the Hiram City Council adopted a Joint Resolution with Paulding County for a Joint Urban Redevelopment Plan for the purpose of rehabilitating, conserving, or redeveloping defined geographical areas within the City of Hiram. 

Other business:

  • The Mayor announced: Candlelight Vigil on October 11, 2013; Paulding Public Safety Event on October 12; 
  • Chamber Legislative Day, 3:30 to 4 p.m. and Work Session, 6:00 p.m. on Oct, 29.
  • City Manager Robbie Rokovitz and Mayor and Council thanked Ms. Julie Meadows, NWGRC, for her work on the City’s Urban Redevelopment Plan.
