Hiram Pawn Shop Hearing Is Tonight
The City of Hiram will hold a public hearing to consider amendments to the City of Hiram zoning ordinance tonight at 6:30 p.m. in the City of Hiram Community Center/Council Chambers at 217 Main Street.
Considered at the hearing will be the special use permit by First American Title Lending of Georgia on 1.341 acres for a Title Pawn Shop on the Highway Business District.
The Paulding County Planning Commission recommended approval with the following stipulations:
(1) Owner/Developer agrees that approval of this SUP is not transferable to another owner other than
the current applicant.
(2) Owner/Applicant agrees all applicable federal, state, and local regulations
for a title pawn business (automotive vehicles only) will be obtained prior to business license
issuance.
