Though challenges and potential risks still exist, the president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank in Atlanta told locals Thursday that the U.S. economy has improved over the last three or four years and has made “substantial progress toward resilience.”
Dennis Lockhart served as the keynote speaker at Thursday’s Georgia Power Luncheon. His address focused mainly on his personal views and outlook on the economy.
Lockhart during his presentation outlined some of the improving conditions in Georgia and the metro Atlanta area, including Paulding County, but went on to highlight domestic factors and even international events that could shape the region’s economy.
