Major Conservative Group Ranks Tom Graves’ Record Best In Georgia Delegation

Rep. Tom Graves Is Only Georgian To Earn 100% Score From Americans For Prosperity In 112th Congress.

Major grassroots conservative group Americans for Prosperity (AFP) released its final scorecard for the 112th Congress, with U.S. Rep. Tom Graves (R-GA-14) ranked first in the Georgia Congressional delegation. Rep. Graves is the only Georgian who earned a 100 percent score from AFP, whose scorecard consists of votes pertaining to economic freedom.

“I’m focused on helping Georgia grow and create jobs, and that means voting to make Washington smaller,” said Rep. Graves. “As a conservative, many times my job is kind of like bush hogging -- I want to clear out excessive government so Georgians can seize opportunities and succeed in life.”

Earlier this year, the scorecard of another top conservative group, Heritage Action, also ranked Rep. Graves’ record as the best in the Georgia delegation for the 112th Congress.

From AFP’s website: “Americans for Prosperity is the nation’s leading grassroots organization advocating for economic freedom. A critical component of that advocacy is holding members of Congress accountable for their voting record. AFP's federal legislative scorecard highlights the most important economic votes held every congress in both the Senate and the House.”
