Open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Closed Thursday, Sunday and all major holidays.

4. The 26th-annual Great Lake Allatoona Clean Up will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Sept. 17 with volunteer registration through Sunday to help beautify the shorelines of Lake Acworth and Lake Allatoona, concluding with a cookout at the Riverside Day Use area on Allatoona Dam Road. The cookout will include free food, entertainment and prizes.

5. The City of Acworth Parks and Recreation Department and Acworth Lake Authority also will host a cookout at noon on Sept. 17 at Cauble Park for clean-up volunteers at Cauble Park, Dallas Landing and Proctor Landing.
