Ragsdale Drops Out of Commissioner Race
The Post 1 incumbent withdrew his candidacy at the last minute.
The is guaranteed to have a new face next year.
Post 1 Commissioner Larry Ragsdale had qualified for reelection Wednesday, but Friday, minutes before the close of qualifying, he withdrew his candidacy.
His departure leaves the Post 1 election a two-person contest. David Carmichael qualified on Wednesday, while Heidi Leggett entered the race Friday.
