Rep. Graves Announces More County Connection Days

Today, U.S. Rep. Tom Graves (R-GA-14) released the fall schedule for his County Connection Program. Under the program, Rep. Graves’ staff members hold office hours on Tuesdays throughout the 14th District, providing constituents who live further away from the Dalton and Rome District Offices a convenient opportunity to meet about federal issues.

“This program is all about bringing Congress a little closer to your home,” said Rep. Graves. “Our district spans twelve counties, and with many living outside the Rome and Dalton areas, it’s important to provide constituents the opportunity to have a congressional meeting in person. A lot of casework and conversations can be handled over phone calls and emails, but sometimes sitting down with one of our constituent service representatives and talking through an issue can make all the difference.”

Rep. Graves’ constituent service representatives will take scheduled and walk-in meetings and are trained to help constituents with federal issues, particularly matters involving casework with federal agencies. Constituents often seek assistance with Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, immigration and passports, veterans’ benefits and military service academies, among other issues.

Constituents can always receive assistance from the Rome or Dalton District Offices, which are open Monday through Friday. Click here for 14th Congressional District office contact information.
