Roadwork on SR 6, 120 To Last Through Friday

State Routes 6 and 120 will have work crews making repairs through Friday, weather permitting.

Drivers in Paulding are encouraged to slow down and stay alert in two areas of road construction in the county.

Georgia Department of Transportation crews will be repairing the deteriorating edges of roadway on State Route 6 in Paulding County, and repairing guard rails at mile marker 9 on SR6 and at mile marker 11 on State Route 120. Both road projects will have crews working today, Thursday and Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., weather permitting.

GDOT officials say drivers navigating through the affected areas should slow down and drive responsibly to avoid injury or death to work crews.
