School Board Meeting Moved to Monday

The Paulding County School Board will gather six days after their regular meeting was originally scheduled to be held.

The Paulding County School Board will not be convening on its regular meeting day today.

The board typically meets on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month at the central office, but today’s meeting has been moved to Monday. Monday’s meeting will retain the usual start time of 6:15 p.m.

Associate Superintendent Brian Otott told Dallas-Hiram Patch that the meeting was moved as today’s original meeting date would have given officials little time to prepare. The school district had been closed for holiday break until Friday, which was a teacher workday and professional learning day. Students returned to classes on Monday.
