Tornado Test Set for 9 a.m.

As part of Severe Weather Preparedness Week, the National Weather Service will conduct a tornado drill today at 9 a.m.

Don't panic if you hear tornado sirens and emergency alert messages on TV in Dallas and Hiram this morning.

The National Weather Service has designated Feb. 6 through 10 as Georgia Severe Weather Awareness Week, with today set aside for tornado safety. At 9 a.m., a statewide tornado drill will begin.
