Video: Carmichael, Leggett Eyeing Post 1 Seat

At least two non-incumbents are guaranteed to win county offices in Tuesday’s Republican primary.

One of those non-incumbents is already set to take office this January—Richard Manous is unopposed in the District 4 race. The other race that will lead to a non-incumbent taking office is that for the Post 1 seat on the county’s . Neither office had Democratic or independent candidates enter their respective races.

Vying to become Post 1’s representative are David Carmichael and Heidi Leggett. The winner of Tuesday’s race will succeed current Post 1 Commissioner Larry Ragsdale, who initially qualified for reelection .

Carmichael recently sat down with Dallas-Hiram Patch for an interview—see what he had to say in the attached videos.
