Voted Yet? You Can Do So Today

Paulding County residents can still cast ballots well ahead of the July 31 primary election by taking advantage of early voting, which continues this week.

Hundreds of Paulding County voters will get to skip the election day lines.

With just over a week of early voting in the books, a number of locals have already gotten their votes recorded. Deidre Holden, supervisor of , told Dallas-Hiram Patch on Tuesday that as of the close of business Monday, 1,197 people had voted in person and 999 paper ballots had been mailed.

Early voting continues today at 8 a.m. in the in the Watson Government Complex, with the polls closing for the day at 5 p.m. The 8-to-5 schedule will remain in place until July 27, while Saturday voting will be offered at the same location this weekend.

Advance voting will open up at three satellite offices Mondayβ€”, 2056 Hiram Douglasville Highway, Hiram; , 1550 East Paulding Drive, Dallas; and the Crossroads Library, 909 Harmony Grove Church Road, Acworth. Voting hours at the three locations will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday; and 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday.

Voters will have to go to their normal polling places on July 31β€”the actual day of the election.
