Water Conservation Tips and Crime News on a Possibly Wet Day

It's the weekend, but we have for you five things you need to know as you begin your day.

1. Keep the umbrella at the ready.

According to the National Weather Service, we should see an occasional drizzle and possibly a thunderstorm before 2 p.m., while showers and thunderstorms are possible later this afternoon. Otherwise, we’ll be under cloudy skies with the high approaching a cooler-than-normal 81. Winds of 5 to 10 mph could gust as high as 15 mph. Tonight, there is a 30-percent chance of showers and storms, mainly before 8 p.m., with cloudy skies and a low just under 70 degrees thereafter.

2. Though today’s temps may not get too high, that’s no cause for a lack of caution. in recent days, so it may be best to keep an eye around your neighborhood.
