Help Relay For Life by Stocking Up at Five Below!

Five Below's Hiram location this week is donating 10% of purchases to Relay For Life of Paulding County when shoppers present the fundraiser flyer at the register. Here are 10 essential items for Relay you can get at the store.

We’re just days away from Relay For Life of Paulding County, and there’s still time to gear up for the event—and support Relay and the American Cancer Society while doing so.

Five Below in Hiram will donate 10 percent of your purchase to Relay For Life of Paulding County if you present a fundraiser flyer at the time of purchase. Flyers can be downloaded from the “Stepping All Over Cancer” Relay team's Facebook page.

The fundraising campaign runs through Sunday, May 18. The store is located at 4904 Jimmy Lee Smith Parkway, Suite 120, and its hours are Sundays from 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

Here are 10 of the many items you can buy at Five Below that you may want to have with you when attending Relay For Life:

1. Sunglasses - Before the sun goes down (and when the sun comes back up), you may want to have some shades to combat those rays.

2. Sunhats and caps - If you like headwear, they’ve got something for you.

3. Sunscreen - It’s not summer yet, but the sun’s close enough to cause sunburns, so it never hurts to be prepared.

4. Water bottles - You’ll probably want to stay hydrated while the sun is out, but also as Relay goes into the night.

5. Cooling towels - Another item that will help you beat the heat.

6. Phone charger - If you want your phone to stay charged all night, you’ll probably want to make sure you have one of these around.

7. String lights - They serve as both a tent decoration and a way to keep your campsite illuminated.

8. Paper lanterns - Same as no. 7, but these may be preferable if they’re closer to your style.

9. Sports balls (footballs, soccer balls, etc.) - It never hurts to get a little playtime in during Relay!

10. Backpacks and bags - Maybe these should have been first on the list, but if you’re buying a number of the aforementioned items, these will definitely help!
