Meet the East Paulding High School Relay for Life Team

Dozens of teams from Relay For Life of Paulding County 2013 have vowed to continue fighting cancer in the 2014 Relay season. We'll be introducing you to many of those teams in the coming weeks.

In the weeks since the kickoff of Relay For Life of Paulding County’s 2014 season, we’ve had a number of teams from the 2013 Relay season register to continue their fight against cancer.

In the coming days and weeks, we’ll be profiling our returning teams and even teams that will be new to Relay this season.

Our first team we’re profiling is East Paulding High School. As of today, the team has raised more than $2,300.

Team Captain Candy Raymond took the time to answer a few questions about her school’s team, which has been involved in Paulding Relay for more than a decade.

* Why did you start your team? We wanted to support people in our community that struggle with the fight against cancer.

* How will you be raising money this year? We raise money through Jeans Days at school and the Play for Pink Game.

* Anything else we should know about your team? We are always trying to get our students more involved!
