Amid Springlike Weather, We've Sprung a New Feature

Five things you need to know today.

1. The unseasonably warm temperatures will continue today following a springlike Saturday. According to the National Weather Service, the overnight low of 42 will heat up to the mid-60s under partly sunny skies. There’s a 40 percent chance of rain tonight; the low will be about 45 degrees. Rain will remain possible through Tuesday night when the precipitation chance increases to likely.

4. Following a year where they earned a sixth consecutive President’s Circle Award from Keep America Beautiful, officials at Keep Paulding Beautiful are eyeing a potential repeat in 2011. .

5. We’re still looking for those willing to take part in a Moms Council of three to five knowledgeable mothers who will help answer questions posted by parents, lead discussions of key parenting topics in the area, and reach out to other mothers in the community.

Our Moms Council will help us improve our coverage of families by suggesting stories to write and help us recognize outstanding kids in Dallas and Hiram.
