Chattahoochee Tech Honors Largest Graduating Class

More than 1,200 students were honored at Chattahoochee Technical College's commencement Thursday morning.

ο»Ώ honored its winter and spring graduates at Thursday's commencement ceremony at the Cobb Performing Arts CentreΒ with more than 1,200 participants on the call list.

President Sanford Chandler passionately pointed out that his graduates along with technical school graduates across the country are the success of today's workforce. Β 

Attorney General Sam Olens gave the commencement address reminding students both young and old that monetary possesions aren't the sole purpose in life.

"The issue at the end of the day, and it may be hard for you to realize this on graduation day, but the issue is not how much money is in your bank account. The issue is what have you done with your years on this earth," Olens said.

Eighteen graduates were also honored for being the first group to complete the Associate Degree Nursing Program that started in January 2010. Watch a video of Wednesday's night ceremony .
