Dallas Third Graders Already Engineering

Dallas third graders turn pasta and marshmellows into science.

Dallas Elementary School's third grade students were recently learning how to be engineers. Through the science curriculum directive which states that students will use ideas of system, model, change, and scale in exploring scientific and technological matters, the students are making towers from pasta and marshmellows.

Shown are, from left, Maranda Bennett, Jessica Perez, and Amari Sims.
