Golf Tournament Scheduled for Monday
Money raised from the event will fund grants and scholarships for Paulding County schools and students.
Officials with the Paulding Education Foundation are hoping to raise $14,000 through a golf tournament on Monday to fund scholarships and grants.
This is the second time the foundation has hosted the Autumn Golf Classic, and Executive Director Amy Mollohan said she plans it to become an annual event. The first golf tournament was held two years ago.
"It’s a great way for the businesses who partner with the foundation to not only promtote their business but also help the public schools," Mollohan said. "It makes for a great day."
