Hosting Drill Competition Helps Prepare East Paulding Cadets

The cadets of the East Paulding High School Air Force JROTC program will be marching to state and national competition in the coming days. Coming before those two events, however, was a March 5 home drill meet.

The Air Force Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps program hosted on Saturday the Southern Invitational Drill Meet, bringing several schools from across Georgia and even Florida. While East Paulding did not compete for trophies in their own meet, the event helped prepare them for upcoming state and national competition.

Watch our video feature on the competition and find out what drill competition and the entire JROTC program teaches cadets.
