Newly Released Maps To Be Discussed Tonight

The proposed middle school redistricting maps will be the center of discussion at tonight's public forum at East Paulding High.

Following Tuesday’s release of new maps proposing the 2012-2013 attendance boundaries of Paulding County’s middle schools, parents, students and community members tonight will get to tell district officials what they think before the maps are finalized and brought in front of the school board. The new maps are attached to this article in PDF form.

The school system is going through the redistricting process with its middle schools as officials . Today’s public forum at , set for 7 p.m., is the third such opportunity for school stakeholders to learn about redistricting and where the system stands with it. While attendees in November were merely introduced to the redistricting concept, last month brought , with interested parties .
