Paulding Grads Win Scholarships

The foundation awards the annual scholarship to a graduating senior at each high school within the Paulding County School District. Partners of the foundation doled out scholarships as well.

The Paulding Education Foundation has named its 2013 scholarship winners.

Natalie Rose Walker of Paulding County High School; Sarah Harris of Hiram High School; Jacqueline Higgins of East Paulding High School; Jessica Teagle of North Paulding High School; and Jordan Miller of South Paulding High School won scholarships valued at $1,000 each.

  • Jesse Locklear of Paulding County High School won the Wesley Rakestraw Scholarship, which is valued at $3,000.
  • Morgan Howell of East Paulding High School; Jesse Locklear of Paulding County High School; and Destin Thomas of Hiram High School won the Robertson Loia Roof Architects & Engineers Scholarship, which is valued at $1,000.
  • Jacqueline Higgins of East Paulding High School won the Jessica Boles Scholarship, which is valued at $2,000.
  • Morgan Benson of Paulding County High School won the Sheffield Family Scholarship, which is valued at $1,000.
  • Leah Speigleman of Paulding County High School won the Hubert and Betty Martin Scholarship, which is valued at $1,000.
  • John Bloye of North Paulding High School won the Blue Diamon Scholar Athlete Scholarship, which is valued at $500.
  • Morgan Howell of East Paulding High School won the Hands of Hygiene Scholarship, which is valued at $500.
