Paulding Schools Release Statement on Make-Up Days

The district's 19 elementary schools, nine middle schools, and five high schools missed all or part of four days of class this past week due to the snowy weather.

Paulding County School District Superintendent Cliff Cole has made an announcement regarding make-up days in relation to missed school due to Winter Storm Leon.

Honestly, I think Paulding & all the other school district in this state that screwed up need to suck it up & lose their federal funding for all 4 days. The greed of getting that funding for Tuesday was what got them into this mess. If you aren't familiar, schools that stay until 12-1pm (Depending on their schedule times) get a full days funding. If they would have closed earlier, they would have only gotten a portion of that money. My son wont be making up days during breaks, we have plans during breaks. He wont be making up time by coming in early or staying later, 8am-2:30pm is long enough for him to be there. You screwed up, you should be the ones that suffer. SUCK IT UP PAULDING, SUCK IT UP!
