Reminder to Parents: Paulding Co. Snow Makeups Begin This Week

Friday, March 14, originally scheduled as a student holiday, is now a full day of classes.

Here's a reminder for Paulding County parents:

Revisions to the 2013-14 school year prompted by the many snow days this winter will begin Friday, March 14. The county school board approved the revisions at its February meeting.

Here are the revisions, as posted on the school's system's website:

  • Friday, March 14: Originally scheduled as a teacher workday/student holiday, will now be a regular student attendance day.
  • Monday, March 17 through Friday, March 21: Originally scheduled as early release/parent-teacher conference days, will now be regular full student attendance days.  Additional information will be provided from your school concerning how their conferences will be accommodated.
  • CRCT testing originally scheduled for April 16-22 will now be rescheduled for April 22-24 and April 28-29.  This will provide our teachers and students additional time to prepare for testing requirements.
