School System Releases Stop Arm Video

The Paulding County School District partners with American Traffic Solutions and the Paulding Sheriff's Office to make this public service accouncement for the school bus stop arm safety initiative.

Terre Lovall, director of transportation, Paulding County School System, and Sheriff Gary Gulledge explain the safety issues and punishments that occur when a resident drives past a school bus with its stop arm out. 

The video points out that fines for illegally passing a school bus start at $300 for a first offense and rise to $750 and $1,000 for second and third offenses.
