Three Paulding Teams Up For TV Station Visits

Fans could see a cross-county matchup, or a local team's road game, featured on Atlanta TV stations.

Fans of three high school football teams in Paulding County have a reason to visit this week one TV station’s Facebook page and another’s website.

The cameras of WSB-TV could be focused Friday on the players, cheerleaders, band members and fans of North Paulding as they visit South Paulding, or those from Hiram High during the Hornets’ trip to Lithia Springs. The ABC affiliate is asking its viewers to help pick out the football matchup that will be visited by the Sports Zone Friday crew.

After heading to WSB-TV’s photo gallery at this link, Facebook users can vote on their favorite schools by liking the photo that represents the game of their choice, which is worth three votes; and by sharing a photo with their Facebook friends, which is worth one vote. Seven games are up this week for the TV station’s visit—the game that receives the most votes on Sports Zone Friday's Facebook Page by noon Friday will be visited by the WSB crew.

East Paulding’s game last week against Villa Rica was one of six matchups that could have been selected by fans for that weekend’s Sports Zone coverage, but that game did not pull the most votes.

Again, you can head here to cast your votes for your favorite game to be covered by WSB.

The North-South game also has a chance to be visited by Fox 5 Atlanta, as it’s one of five games up for the station’s Game of the Week. Fans of either team can head to this link to cast online votes, or can text “GAME 4” to 78015. Fans can cast an unlimited amount of online votes and up to three each hour via text message.
