Video: Victory for Raiders, a Win Against Cancer

Though Hiram High did not win its Friday football battle, the school's players and its supporters with the help of the East Paulding faithful struck a blow against breast cancer.

Pink was chic at Friday's football game between and high schools.

Though the schools were on opposite sides of the gridiron, they came together for , an effort to bring awareness to breast cancer and raise money to help fight it.

The night began with a survivors' walk for those affected by breast cancer. Later in the evening, the schools presented a check for $3,000 to the Paulding County chapter of the American Cancer Society.

When the night was over, East Paulding had added a 63-14 win to its unbeaten streak. The Raiders' in the victory equaled their season's highest point total—the team last month—but allowed the Hornets to hang the most points of any other team they've faced. Going into the game, East Paulding had shut out four of its six prior opponents and only allowed 15 points all season.
