Decision Made on School Closings in Paulding County
Kids will probably like the answer to that question.
Paulding County Schools will be closed on Tuesday, Feb. 11, and Wednesday, Feb. 12 the system posted on its website.
Cherokee, Bartow, Douglas and Cobb have also cancelled class, as area school systems prepare for the winter storm that will bring ice and snow and make traveling treacherous.
The statement posted by Paulding Schools:
All Paulding County School District schools will be closed Tuesday, February 11th due to the threat of inclement weather overnight in our region. We will continue to update the District website and our social media outlets throughout the week, as the forecast calls for another significant front to move into our area Tuesday night and Wednesday.
In addition, the Paulding County Board of Education meeting scheduled for Tuesday, February 11, at 6:15 p.m. has been canceled.
