Chamber Hosts Ribbon Cutting for Seven Hill Connector

The connector includes an extension of the Seven Hills Boulevard multi-use trail, which adds an additional two miles, making this the longest multi-use trail in Paulding County other than the Silver Comet Trail.

On Thursday, Nov. 21, the Paulding County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for the new Seven Hill Connector.

The Seven Hills Connector consists of 2.15 miles of 20-foot divided two-lane road that connects SR 92 and the Old Stilesboro Road intersection to Cedarcrest Road at the existing intersection of Seven Hill Boulevard. A 107-foot bridge was constructed over Westbrook Creek, along with three culverts and nine MSE walls. The connector includes an extension of the Seven Hills Boulevard multi-use trail, which adds an additional two miles, making this the longest multi-use trail in Paulding County other than the Silver Comet Trail.

C.W. Matthews Contracting Company, the low bidder, was awarded the project, in the amount of $10 million. This project is the largest 100 percent SPLOST- funded project that Paulding County has awarded.Β
