East Paulding a Force in State Meet
The Lady Raiders finish 10th in cross country, and a Raider runner places 11th among the boys.
Ashley Taylor finished 13th in the AAAA girls state cross-country championships Saturday in Carrollton, while placed 10th in the team competition.
Among the boys, East Paulding’s Parker Sorenson finished 11th, and Slade Williams came in 43rd. No teams from Paulding made it.
The Lady Raiders were the only Paulding County team to make the Georgia High School Association state meet. The 10th-place finish came from Leah Sikorski in 18th, Lilly Kidane in 24th, Caroline Basch in 74th, Jasmine Weber in 90th and Ana Hernandez in 103rd.
