Football Preview: Raiders Host 2nd-Place Pope

Kell (5-2, 3-1) at North Paulding (3-5, 1-4) – Kell has won three games in a row and has one of the stingiest defenses in region play. ranks third in the region in scoring and needs to explode on offense tonight if it hopes to climb out of the cellar in the standings.

Pope (6-1, 3-1) at East Paulding (7-0, 4-0) – The fourth-ranked Raiders host Pope tonight and look to prove their defense is for real. The Raiders allowed a team to reach double digits on the scoreboard for the first time all season and Pope brings with it the second-strongest offense in Region 5N-AAAA play.

South Paulding (5-2, 4-0) at Paulding County (2-5, 1-3) – is currently on a four-game winning streak and has blanked three of those four opponents. enters tonight’s game after a win that stopped a five-game losing streak last week.
