Kennesaw State Hits Jackpot with Local Football Signings

The Owls' inaugural National Signing Day lands four from the area.

The start of Kennesaw State's football program will have some of its roots in Paulding County, considering what happened on National Signing Day, Feb. 5.

Four players from the county signed national letters of intent Wednesday, making Paulding the go-to area for the Owls' inaugural recruiting class.

Leading the list is quarterback Chandler Burks of South Paulding, who was Kennesaw's first commitment.

He will be joined by teammates. Defensive tackle Lorenzo Adger and running back Jae Bowen.

Also signing with Kennesaw was North Paulding defensive back Jace White.
