Weekend Pigskin Roundup

Each Monday we'll take a look at what happened on the gridiron over the weekend in Dallas-Hiram Patch.

Paulding County 27, Lithia Springs 13 – The Patriots amassed close to 500 yards of total offense and broke out of a five-game losing streak to ruin Lithia Springs' homecoming. The Patriots dual threats at running back, Carl Edouard and Kwan Talley ran for 170 yards apiece with Edouard scoring three times.

South Paulding 34, Douglas County 17 – The Spartans won their fourth game in a row Friday and have allowed just more than four points per game over the span of their winning streak.

East Paulding 63, Hiram 14 – East Paulding matched its highest scoring output of the season with 63 points but allowed 14 points from Hiram. The Raiders had allowed just 15 points combined in their previous six games.

Osborne 42, North Paulding 25 – The Wolfpack had no answer for two Osborne athletes; Jaywon Christian and Nyikki Height. Christian ran for 200 yards and four scores and Height caught two touchdown passes, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
