Each Monday we'll take a look at what happened on the gridiron over the weekend in Dallas-Hiram Patch.

East Paulding 35, Osborne 7 – had trouble stopping running back Kamani Thomas who rushed for 234 yards and had four touchdowns Friday. Osborne head coach Xarvia Smith told the Marietta Daily Journal that Thomas was Region 5N-AAAA’s best player, by far.

"He is the best player in this region," Smith said. "There's no doubt about it in my mind."

The Cardinals gained just 67 yards on offense as they found East Paulding’s defense to be stifling.
