Family Alliance of Paulding to 'March Against Meth' June 18

The local nonprofit is holding the event to raise funds for drug prevention education.

The Family Alliance of Paulding and its Meth Alliance of Paulding program is holding on Saturday, June 18 the fifth-annual March Against Meth 5K, an event aimed fighting methamphetamine use and abuse in the county.

The March Against Meth will be held at the Silver Comet trailhead on Seaboard Avenue in Hiram, next to . The event features a 5-kilometer walk and run as well as a 10-kilometer run and a "paws walk" for walkers and their pets. Participant fees are $20 for those 12 and under and $25 for everyone else.

Vendor spaces will be available at $50, while others wishing to support the event can pay to become sponsors. Sponsorship levels at $100, $200, $500 and $1,000 offer various degrees of publicity for the sponsor, ranging from listing on the event sponsor board to premium placement on event T-shirts and listing on banners.
