Paulding County Division of Family & Children Services
The state Division of Family & Children Services oversees welfare and employment support, child protection services, foster care and other avenues through which families can be supported. Paulding DFCS is located in the same facility as the Paulding County Sheriff's Office Crimes Against Children Unit, which aims to protect the county's young residents by investigating criminal activity where a child has been physically or sexually abused, neglected or kidnapped. The unit also employs proactive programs to prevent such incidents.
