Our first time at Taste of Dixie was very pleasant. Nice fresh coffee, eggs done to order (I like over medium, my husband likes his scrambled well), ham was delicious as was the bacon and sausage. I finally tasted grits that had flavor and didn't look like some kind of paste on a plate. I wouldn't mind a bowlful for breakfast, maybe with a little chees. ; ) I'll have to get used to the biscuits, they are different from the one's I'm used to having in diners in New Jersey, my home state. They were good, just different. Just couldn't make myself try the white gravy. : ( I'm just too much of a Northerner. We had a good experience, with friendly people and we'll certainly be back. ; )
