I'm not sure if you are affiliated with the Burger's Market on Bankhead Hwy. in Douglasville, Ga. but thought I would contact you in case you are. I've been shopping at the Burger's in Douglasville since the early '80's and have recommended them to my family and many other people who have also gone there to purchase various items. I have always thought very highly of them until a little while ago 4-16-2012 at about 1:00 PM when I visited them to purchase some top soil and also inquire as to when they would be receiving some other items so I could return to purchase them. I purchased the top soil and pulled my truck close to it for loading. I usually load it myself and/or help the attendant in loading it. I was a little slow moving due to straining my back yesterday and when I got around to the back of my truck I paused a moment. The caucasion older tall gentleman who I believe to be the manager commented "Are you just going to stand there and watch? We don't make much money on this stuff. I don't need your business. Go in there and get your money back." I stated to him that I was going to help and had hurt my back yesterday. He made no reply and stormed off to tell the cashier, his daughter, to give me my money back. I again told her that I was sorry but had hurt my back yesterday. She replied that she was sorry and said "He's just in a bad mood today." I can be reached via e-mail ga30134@yahoo.com in case anyone reads this and agrees that an apology is in order.David S

David, I'm not sure how you came to this page to comment on this situation, but I'm not sure you're going to have much luck here. My suggestion would be to head to http://douglasville.patch.com/listings/burgers-market and use the contact information there to talk to someone at the store, or you can leave a comment and rating at that page.

The person I was speaking of that was so rude was either the manager or the owner.

Guess they don't need anyone's business then. ANY person in business is there for the money or enjoys giving service to their patrons. YES you are due a big apology and some compensation. Bad attitudes are not wanted or needed in business today. Good Luck David - kay In arizona
