Paulding 4-H'ers Compete at Cloverleaf Area Project Achievement

Paulding County has an active 4-H program. Recently, 35 4-H'ers compted at Area Project Achievement in Rome.

Did you know that the fear of public speaking ranks no. 1 on the list of many adults' greatest fears? Maybe you are one of them. If so, you might be surprised to learn that Paulding County 4-H'ers are learning to give presentations and practicing that skill in front of their peers and even contest judges. Recently, Paulding County 4-H'ers in fifth and sixth grade participated in Area Project Achievement at Georgia Highlands College in Rome. Thirty-five Paulding County 4-H'ers competed against 4-H'ers from 12 other counties from our region in project areas including performing arts, conservation, sports, kitchen fun, dog and cat care, horses, computers and many others.
