Conley Makes Mark in First Career Start

North Paulding High School grad Chris Conley gave the Bulldogs their first score of the night during last weekend’s game against Auburn.

From UGA Sports Communications Dallas native and sophomore receiver Chris Conley had a standout game for the Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday. In his first career start, he helped the Bulldogs beat the Auburn Tigers 38-0. He tallied four receptions on the night for 32 yards total and one touchdown. The offense knew they had to take control of the game early in order to clinch the Southeastern Conference Eastern Division, and with Conley’s help, they did just that. On the first drive of the night, quarterback Aaron Murray threw a 6-yard touchdown pass to Conley that put the Bulldogs on the scoreboard first. Dallas Native Conley Shines in UGA’s Opener

North Paulding High School grad Chris Conley helped the Bulldogs put points on the board during the team’s first game of the season.

Georgia Bulldogs fans in Paulding saw a former local player make an impact on the field this past Saturday. A former wide receiver for the North Paulding High School Wolfpack, Dallas native Chris Conley made a special play on UGA’s special teams unit during a second-quarter punt by Buffalo University. Conley blocked the punt, which led to his team getting the ball at Buffalo’s 23-yard-line. The play would ultimately lead to a 35-yard field goal for his team. In addition to his successful block, Conley during the game caught two passes from Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray for a total of 20 yards. Conley signed with the Bulldogs in 2011 and received one of the team’s Newcomer of the Year Awards as a freshman last fall. He appeared in 11 …
