No arrests have been made in last week’s robbery in Douglasville, nor one that happened late last year in South Paulding.
A robbery at a Douglasville business last week could be tied to a similar crime that remains unsolved more than seven months later. The Douglas County Sheriff's and Douglasville Police Departments last week announced they were seeking two men after an armed robbery at the JP Jones Petro gas station on Bankhead Highway. Authorities report that one of the two suspects fired a round as they entered the store and robbed the clerk of the cash. The two may have been dropped off at the business by a gray, four-door car with fog lights.
