Police made an arrest in the case of missing student Jmaal Malik Keyes of Austell, who was reported missing from the Middle Georgia State College campus since April 25.
A 17-year-old Middle Georgia State College student is accused of murdering fellow student Jmaal Malik Keyes, a graduate of Hiram High School, in Paulding County. He was reported missing April 25. Middle Georgia State College campus police arrested 17-year-old Robert Kane Rolison Thursday night and charged him with murder. Keyes, a 19-year-old freshman from Austell, was reported missing more than two weeks ago after he visited his family in the Atlanta area. WSB reported earlier this week that Keyes' family had lost contact with him since April 25, a few days after his sister drove him back to his college campus in Cochran. Authorities say Wilford Hardnett was last seen on Dallas Highway near Lost Mountain Park in Cobb County Friday afternoon but may have been spotted Saturday near East Paulding Drive.

At about 3:30 p.m., 16-year-old Wilford Hardnett was located in good condition walking on the Marietta Country Club golf course off Stilesboro Road, Sgt. Dana Pierce, spokesman for the Cobb County Police Department, said just before 7 p.m. Saturday. Cobb County authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in helping them locate a missing 16-year-old special needs boy who may have been seen in Paulding County. According to Cobb Police, Wilford Hardnett was last seen walking eastbound on Dallas Highway towards Lost Mountain Park after jumping out of the window of a Cobb County special needs school bus about 4:25 p.m. Friday. Mariel Shields is believed to be somewhere in the metro Atlanta area, Dallas Police said Friday.
Dallas Police on Friday confirmed that a 15-year-old girl reported missing Sept. 20 has yet to be found one month later. Mariel Shields was reported missing from her Dallas home last month, according to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. Earlier this month, Det. Allen Herd with the Dallas Police Department said that Mariel at that time was believed to be in or around Paulding County and using the name “Coco,” telling people she was 20 years old. Dallas Police believe Mariel Shields is still around the Paulding area.
Dallas Police Thursday morning announced they were searching for a 15-year-old girl who has been missing for two weeks. Mariel Shields has been missing since Sept. 20, according to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. Det. Allen Herd with the Dallas Police Department told Dallas-Hiram Patch that Mariel is believed to still be in or around Paulding County and using the name “Coco,” telling people she is 20 years old. Eden Fulmer had been reported missing earlier Friday.
The Paulding County Sheriff’s Office late Friday announced that 16-year-old Eden Fulmer had been located after being reported missing earlier in the day. “She is okay and in good condition,” PCSO Cpl. Ashley Henson wrote in an email to the media about 11:45 p.m. Prior to being found, Fulmer had been last seen Tuesday about 5 p.m. at her residence in the Bentwater subdivision in northeast Paulding County.
