Meet Dallas-Hiram Patch at National Night Out

Tonight’s event in Hiram is still on, according to event organizers. Dallas-Hiram Patch Editor Jon Gargis and Advertising Manager Allison Bentley will be there to give away Patch items.

You’re just hours away from free food—and free items from Patch. The Hiram Police Department and Target are holding National Night Out 2012 in Ben Hill Strickland Sr. Memorial Park today from 6 to 9 p.m. The event is aimed at heightening crime and drug prevention awareness, promoting local anticrime programs and strengthening neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships. Event organizers earlier this afternoon said that despite today’s rains, they anticipate the weather to dry up, and the event is set to go on as planned. Today’s event is free, and attendees will be able to enjoy free hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and drinks. Free Food, Activities During ‘National Night Out’

The Hiram Police Department and Target are sponsoring Tuesday’s event, which will focus on crime prevention and awareness.

The Hiram Police Department is throwing a going away party for neighborhood crime and drugs—and the public is invited. The department, with the help of Target, is holding National Night Out 2012 in Ben Hill Strickland Sr. Memorial Park Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m. The event is aimed at heightening crime and drug prevention awareness, promoting local anticrime programs and strengthening neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships. The event is free, and attendees will be able to enjoy free hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and drinks.
