Local Teams Fall Short in Fan Voting

Two Atlanta TV stations will be visiting other schools to capture tonight’s football action, but two local teams could earn a camera crew’s visit next week.

Fans of the football programs of North Paulding and South Paulding high schools nearly nabbed the chance to have an Atlanta TV station highlight their teams tonight. A visit from WSB-TV’s Sports Zone Friday crew was in reach for the players and supporters of the Wolfpack and Spartans, but in the end, the matchup between Mount Pisgah Christian School and The Walker School just barely won the fan voting to have the ABC affiliate in attendance. The station had asked its viewers to help pick the game to be visited by the crew. Hiram High’s away game against Lithia Springs also was in the running. The North-South game also was one of five choices for Fox 5 Atlanta’s Game of the Week, but that honor will go to Chestatee vs. Johnson-Gainesville. …

Three Paulding Teams Up For TV Station Visits

Fans could see a cross-county matchup, or a local team’s road game, featured on Atlanta TV stations.

Fans of three high school football teams in Paulding County have a reason to visit this week one TV station’s Facebook page and another’s website. The cameras of WSB-TV could be focused Friday on the players, cheerleaders, band members and fans of North Paulding as they visit South Paulding, or those from Hiram High during the Hornets’ trip to Lithia Springs. The ABC affiliate is asking its viewers to help pick out the football matchup that will be visited by the Sports Zone Friday crew. After heading to WSB-TV’s photo gallery at this link, Facebook users can vote on their favorite schools by liking the photo that represents the game of their choice, which is worth three votes; and by sharing a photo with their Facebook friends, which is …

Last Chance: Vote East Paulding for WSB Sports Zone Visit

If the Villa Rica-East Paulding game receives the most votes on Sports Zone Friday's Facebook Page by noon Friday, the WSB crew will be coming to Dallas. The local game is currently second in the voting.

Raiders football fans have a few more hours to help bring the TV cameras to Dallas on Friday. East Paulding hosts Villa Rica in Friday’s football matchup, and the game is one of six that could be chosen to be the focus of the WSB TV station’s Sports Zone coverage. East Paulding Could Earn WSB Sports Zone Visit

The Raiders host Villa Rica on Friday and could also be hosting the sports crew of an Atlanta TV station—if fans show their support on Facebook.

The cameras of WSB-TV could be focused Friday on the players, cheerleaders, band members and fans of East Paulding High School, but only if the Raider faithful rally on Facebook. East vs. North Game Second in WSB-TV Voting

Fans of East Paulding and North Paulding high schools have until noon to push tonight’s football game to the top of the poll to bring an Atlanta TV station’s crew to town. Paulding County vs. Hiram is also in the running.

The cameras of WSB-TV could be focused tonight on the players, cheerleaders, band members and fans of East Paulding and North Paulding high schools, but only if those teams and their supporters rally on Facebook this morning. As of early Friday, tonight’s East Paulding vs. North Paulding football game had slipped to second place out of seven matchups that could be the focus of the Atlanta TV station’s Sports Zone coverage. The ABC affiliate is asking its viewers to help pick out the football matchup that will be visited by the Sports Zone Friday crew. Two Paulding County games—Paulding County vs. Hiram and the East vs. North game—are among the choices. The latter had led the polling earlier in the week but was 3,300 votes behind Allatoona …
