Five Great Summer Camps

Many kinds of summer camps can help a child, tween or teen explore all kinds of interests while having fun. Here is a sampling.

1. GO TELL Camps in Toccoa  For the 23rd year, these camps for children, tweens and teens will be held at the Georgia Baptist Conference Center in Toccoa. Dates are June 20-24 and June 27-July 1. The Kids Camps are for children who have completed the third through fifth grades. The Student Camps are for sixth-graders through high school seniors. Camp registration is now open for church youth groups. 2. Paulding County Camps Several camps will be offered by the Paulding County Parks and Recreation Department this summer. Sam - A lot of day cares offer summer programs. Also, check with some churches. Church costs are sometimes lower because a lot of the helpers are volunteers. Summer camps cost so much because of labor, materials and especially insurance! :)   more ›
