A message found written at Moses Middle School was the second bomb threat made to a Paulding school this week.
Dismissal procedures at Moses Middle were altered Friday afternoon following school officials’ discovery of a bomb threat written on a bathroom stall, school district and public safety officials said Friday evening. The threat was the second to involve a Paulding County school this week. The threatening message was found and reported to school officials at the end of the school day, Associate Superintendent Brian Otott told Dallas-Hiram Patch, but it was not immediately known how long the message had been written there. Officials with Paulding County Schools at noon Wednesday confirmed that a bomb threat led to the evacuation of Paulding County High School earlier in the day. “The 911 center did receive an anonymous call [saying] there was a bomb in Paulding County High School. The caller did not provide any other details, and as a precautionary measure, [as we do] any time we have a bomb threat, the building was evacuated,” Associate Superintendent Brian Otott told Dallas-Hiram Patch.
